SERVICES

American Legion Post 135 offers a variety of services to Veterans, their families and members of the community.  These services range from helping Veterans navigate the VA benefits with the help of a trained Service Officer to providing Color Guard Services for community events or Honor Guard Services for veterans who have transitioned to their Post Everlasting.  In addition, members are available to offer instruction on Flag Etiquette, Proper disposal of retired flags, and Flag folding.

Service Officer

The Post Service Officer is the local advocate for all things VA.  He assists in navigating VA related issues.

Color Guard

The Color Guard is available to present/post the American Flag at various events such as Memorial Day services, Opening Day of Little League, and Parades

Honor Guard

The Honor Guard conducts the Military Honors for Veterans that have moved on to Post Everlasting.  Families may request this service at local mortuaries of from the Post directly.

Flag Etiquette

Upon request, our veterans love to teach Flag Etiquette to America's next generation.  It includes raising & lower the flag, folding the flag, and proper disposal/retirement of the flag.
