ABOUT
A few local residents approached the Department Membership Chairman, Jeri Strande about establishing a new post in the Cornville area. The American Legion Post 135, Cornville AZ obtained a Temporary Charter dated April 9, 2009 with 20 members.. The Permanent Charter was granted on January 31, 2010 and signed by Clarence Hill, National Commander. There were 35 charter members of the post.
The purpose of the American Legion Post 135 is to serve Veterans, their families and the communities of Cornville, Page Springs and Sedona through patriotic educational programs and events. We are a small Post but we accomplish great things.
